In this day and age, we don’t talk.
We aren’t there for each other like generations before. The digital age and the power of technology have made it so hard to remember our traditions and rituals like back in the day you tent to go out on Saturday night. We don’t go to the local for a pint, dancing or taking all your neighbours up the water to go camping. As much as The Man Cave is a mental health support group, it is a social group where you come and where you can talk, have a moan about daily life, laugh, carry on all in a safe space to let you speak your mind. All the people that attend want to be there, and we can all rely on them for support. At the end of the day, if needed, they’d all be in it with me. If you feel lonely or struggling with your mental health, please pop into the cave on a Tuesday lunchtime at West Lothian College or join us Thursday dinnertime on Microsoft Teams.
